Not many bright comets. Brings back memories of Halley -Madrid 1986-, Hyakutake, 1996 and the spectacular Hale-Bopp, 1997; all with film on a fixed tripod. As with Halley, couldn't see this naked eye wise but found it with binoculars, helped by Jasem Mutlaq's excellent kstars. Dusted off the old Takumar for this one using the click stop between 5.6 and 8.
