450d banding

Cheepo eos450d from 2008, very old by dslr technology standards.

We recommend not using dark frames of any type. Simply subtract the offset instead. If you really must cripple yourself with dark frames, try the following...

Note: if you have anything even a little more modern e.g. anything with the 18Mp sensor and Digic 4 processor or better, you shouldn't need to use dark frames. Our 700d is totally clean.

Don't fret about matching dark and light frame temperatures,  dark optimization algorithms available in modern software go some way to correct for this. Here we are in Siril:
