Having failed to find a guide star on m106 and having no guarantee the sky would hold clear, I remembered that m3 may be a possibility but still had problems finding a guide star on the other side of the meridian. Time to dismantle, clean or try that new 120mm that's been sitting on the shelf in the telescope room since xmas...

EDIT: deliberating... this version may just have the edge. Managed to tame the loose star at the bottom instead of cropping. Better stars overall?
