DON'T DO THIS...

There are 4 (four) screws holding the block. Remove the motor to get at the bolt behind it. THEN, and only then, adjust.

DON'T attempt to loosen the centre screw first. Loosen the two out the outer bolts then- with the locking screw now loose- adjust. Locking screw anticlockwise, tightens the mesh. Take up the adjustment using the outer bolts turning them clockwise in turn by small amounts.

The important bit: outer screws clockwise take the worm closer to the gear. The centre screw is to lock them.
