 Update.

Problem: there's a shoulder reducing from the m8 thread to 6mm. Anyway, this is where we're at:

here's hoping the nylon will hold 5kg in compression

Update again.

Added a m8 nut and wingnut.

It remained in position all night. Checked this morning and the bolt was still tight. Time will tell if the nylon holds out under compression for very long...
