I should have known when the focuser had to be wound right in toward the telescope that something was wrong. cc too close, but after discovering I had added 10mm extra initially, was relieved to get back to something acceptable. All feeling around in the dark at midnight as usual, I let it run anyway. With an hour wasted, we had only four left anyway so I just let it run. Cloud an hour before sunrise too.
