• Place the dongle centre and the actual screen as shown.
• Right click -> Display Configuration
• Enable ONLY the dongle is activated AND primary (but remember that as soon as the real screen is deactivated you'll not be able to see anything)
• Remove the real screen cable
• Reboot via SSH

Or make things easier; configure using a second screen, KB and Mouse.
