fits file icon kde

This should be self explanatory. As usual, there is more than one way to access this.

First, right click a fits file -> properties -> open with -> Change

to get this:

You now have a clickable file type icon (I'd already changed to the green one)

If the fits file type isn't there, create it in file associations which can be accessed by searching 'file associations' from the kde start button.
