Here is the 0.8x reducer. With the evidence here that the backspacing was too far, we try...

12 + 20 + 7 + 17.5 = 56.5mm (still too far, but moving in the right direction)

(It looks as if:
12 + 20 + 6 + 17.5 = 55.5mm is gonna be as good as we can get.)

Anyway, here we are at 56.5mm. Both a ghostly and a more in your face rendition.
